San Diego Padres affiliates went (5-3) on Saturday.

Here is a recap of the day’s games.

El Paso (49-40) won 5-4

The Chihuahuas made a late rally to earn a road win over the Salt Lake Bees. El Paso trailed 4-2 before they made their comeback. It started with a solo home run from Dusty Coleman in the seventh inning. In the eighth, Forrestt Allday drove in two runs with a single to center field. Franmil Reyes hit his 15th home run of the season.

San Antonio Missions (51-35) won 7-1

Chris Paddack pitched six innings in his debut for Double-A San Antonio in a 7-1 win over the Arkansas Travelers. He allowed a home run as the only hit and run given up, along with a walk and five strikeouts. His ERA sits at 1.50. Ty France blew the game wide open in the second inning when he hit a bases-loaded triple. He drove in all three runners to make the score 5-1. Peter Van Gansen hit three RBI-singles.

Lake Elsinore (42-45) won 12-1

Lake Elsinore put up seven runs in the first inning against the Visalia Rawhide. Buddy Reed and Nate Easley both hit RBI-triples in the inning. Marcus Greene, Jr. hit an RBI-double and Chris Baker followed with a home run. The Storm batted around and had seven hits. Nick Margevicius scattered four hits over six scoreless innings.

Fort Wayne Tincaps (43-43) lost 5-4

Jeisson Rosario and Tirso Ornelas both went 3-for-4, but it wasn’t enough. The Tincaps lost 5-4 to the Bowling Green Hot Rods on Saturday. Rosario and Ornelas combined for six of the team’s 10 hits. Rosario hit a triple and drove in two RBI. Ornelas had a double and an RBI. Rosario’s triple gave Fort Wayne a 3-2 lead in the second inning. Bowling Green tied the score in the next inning. They broke a 4-4 tie with a run in the eighth inning and held on for the win.

Tri-City (11-12) won 3-0

Ramon Perez scattered four hits over five-and-two-thirds innings and didn’t allow a run in Tri-City’s win over Everett Aqua Sox. Perez struck out eight and didn’t allow a walk. Oliver Basabe drove in two RBI and had three hits in the game, including two doubles. Luke Becker had a triple.

AZL (1) Padres (9-11) lost 9-4

The Padres weren’t able to take advantage of five errors committed by the Angels. The Padres were outhit 13-5. Omar Cruz allowed six runs (three earned) over three-and-two-thirds innings. Jawaun Harris had two RBI.

AZL (2) Padres (7-9) lost 7-3

The Padres’ bats were kept mostly silent in a 7-3 loss to the Giants. Jordy Barley hit his third home run of the season and Blinger Perez hit an RBI-double.

DSL Padres (18-13) won 6-0

Eudi Ascensio scattered two hits over five innings and didn’t give up a run. The Padres took advantage of six White Sox errors, winning 6-0. Ascensio’s performance set the tone, and the bullpen was able to keep the shutout intact. Sergio Carrizoza pitched three hitless innings. On offense, three different players had two hits and five different players had an RBI. The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fourth inning. The Padres put up two runs in the frame and remained in control the rest of the way.
