The Peoria Javelinas lost 4-3 to the MesaSolar Sox and are now 8-5 on the year.

There was plenty of action around the globe for the Padres.

Here is your recap for the day:

Arizona Fall League

Buddy Reed– (0-3) BB, K. SB

The speedy outfielder continues to play well in the desert, stealing another base for Peoria. He has been batting in the 7th-9th spot in the lineup typically, but has performed well for the Javelinas, hitting .333 so far. He could continue to develop in 2019 with the bat.

Blake Rogers– 1 IP, K (12 pitches- 8 strikes)

Rogers was called to Arizona last week and made his first appearance of the fall on Wednesday. He reports that the arm is good and he is excited to get the chance to pitch in Arizona.

Venezuelan winter league

Gabriel Arias– (1-3) K

The defensive wizard is hitting .267 on the year for the Tiburones de La Guaira. Arias looks to get more consistent with his swing and cut down on the strikeouts as he furthers his growth in the game.

Edward Olivares– (1-3) RBI, 2 Runs, 2 K, SB

The Tigres de Aragua have received some great effort from Edward Olivares as he is hitting .286 on the year in Venezuela. The outfielder batted in the leadoff position on Wednesday and stole his third bag of the year.

Dominican winter league

Esteury Ruiz– (1-3) K

In limited time, Ruiz is hitting .400 for the Toros de Este. The young infielder has been progressing nicely since he was obtained from the Royals in 2017.

Mexican winter league

No Padres players in action
