Padres Winter League Report: October 30 (Austin Allen with 2 Homers/Franmil Debuts in D.R.)
The Peoria Javelinas won 12-7 over the Surprise Saguaros on Tuesday and are now 12-6 on the year in the AFL.

Arizona Fall League
Hudson Potts– (1-4) Run, BB, K
The third baseman is hitting .231 on the year after a 1-for-4 game on Tuesday. Potts has been batting in the middle of the lineup for the Javelinas and has shown improved defense at the hot corner.
Austin Allen– (2-5) 2 HR, 5 RBI, 2 Runs, 2 K, Error
The catcher is hitting .278 on the year after launching his first two homers of the year for Peoria (Video Below). The homers were in the 7th and 8th inning of Tuesday’s game.
Dauris Valdez– 1 IP, 2 K (9 piches/7 strikes)
The hard-throwing Dominican has his ERA at 2.57 on the year after another scoreless inning pitched. Valdez will likely start the year in Double-A and could be a factor soon for the Padres.

Dominican winter league
Jonathan Aro– 1 IP, 1 H
After a two-week hiatus from pitching, Aro returned to throw a scoreless inning on Tuesday for the Tigres de Licey. His ERA is at 13.50 for the year in three appearances.
Diego Goris– (0-0)
The third baseman is hitting .286 on the year. He played first base late in the game as a defensive replacement on Tuesday.
Franmil Reyes– (1-3) Run, BB, K
La Mole made his debut in the D.R. on Tuesday and went 1-for-3 for the Leones de Escogido. He was the team’s DH, but should get some action on the field in the coming weeks.
Eric Yardley– 1 IP, 1 H, 1 BB
Yardley is maintaining a 1.35 ERA in the Dominican Republic. He threw a scoreless inning on Tuesday.

Edward Olivares– (0-0)
He entered the game as a defensive replacement on Tuesday. The outfielder is hitting .286 so far this season in Venezuela.
Australian Baseball League
Michael Gettys will play for the Adelaide Bite in the ABL. League starts play on November 15.
