The San Diego Padres affiliates went 1-0 on Monday, as just the El Paso Chihuahuas were in action.

El Paso Chihuahuas (Won 6-3 vs. Salt Lake) (27-22 on the season)

Reiss Knehr: 3 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 1 BB, 2 K (66 pitches, 39 strikes)

Luis Liberato: (1-for-4), HR, 4 RBI, R, 2 K

C.J. Abrams: (2-for-4), R, BB, K

Brent Rooker: (0-for-2), 2 R, 2 BB, 2 SB

Luis Liberato hit a third-inning grand slam, and the Chihuahuas bullpen put together six scoreless innings to pick up a Memorial Day win. Reiss Knehr gave up three runs in three frames to start the game, but El Paso’s bullpen controlled the remainder of the game. Ray Kerr gave up a fourth-inning single, but that was the only hit that Salt Lake picked up off of the bullpen. CJ Abrams, Brent Rooker, Luis Campusano, and Brett Sullivan all picked up one-out walks in the third inning, before Liberato’s grand slam cleared the bases to give El Paso the lead. Eguy Rosario and Brent Rooker pulled off a double steal, in which Rooker stole home, in the fifth.
