Eight Kickoff Times Set for SDSU Football
On Wednesday, kickoff times for eight of SDSU’s football games were announced today. The eight games were announced by the conference and CBS. The first seven will be shown on CBS Sports Network. The final game of the regular season will be a nationally televised contest on CBS as the Aztecs welcome Boise State to Carson on Friday, November 26, the day after Thanksgiving.
If the complications of playing around the holiday and having to travel from campus on a short week were not enough, both teams, accustomed to playing late in the night, will have the challenge and excitement of an early kickoff with the start time scheduled for 9 am. The game will mark the seventh all-time meeting between the two schools. SDSU is currently 3-3 against BSU with two of their three wins coming on the blue turf in Boise. The programs last played in 2018 with SDSU walking away with a 19-13 win.
On Thursday, three more games were added to the slate with the Pac 12 Networks picking up the game at Arizona and Fox Sports picking up the games at Hawaii and New Mexico at home. Kickoff time for the Arizona game is 7pm. The games times for Hawaii and New Mexico have not been released. Only the Aztecs’ game at home against Towson does not have a television partner yet. My earliest sport’s memory involve tailgating at the Murph, running down the circular exit ramps, and seeing the Padres, Chargers and Aztecs play. As a second generation Aztec, I am passionate about all things SDSU. Other interests include raising my four children, being a great husband and teaching high school.
