Kazuhisa Makita was demoted and Matt Strahm was reinstated from the DL. Javy Guerra was sent back to El Paso and Bryan Mitchell was taken out if the starting rotation in favor of Jordan Lyles. We discuss what is going on with this rotation.
The Monterrey series started out horribly, but ended on a great note as the Padres took the series.
Patrick and I talk about Manuel Margot‘s production, or lack of it, and that leads into some Adam Jones talk. Our friend Woods and Patrick got into a debate this morning on Twitter after an ESPN writer suggested the team should sign Adam Jones in the off-season. This led to a great talk by the two of us about the former Morse High School product.
We get into it about Austin Hedges for a little bit as we wonder about his bat.
