San Diego Padres affiliates went 4-4 on Wednesday.

Here is a recap of the day’s events.

El Paso Chihuahuas (52-33) Won 8-4

The Padres could have another addition to an already crowded outfield as Travis Jankowski played in back-to-back games this week. It is the first hurdle for the outfielder as he returns from a wrist injury. He will require at least another week or two in the minors to get his timing down but should be back relatively soon. He went 1-for-2 and stole a base in El Paso’s 8-4 win over Fresno on Wednesday. Luis Urais went 2-for-4 in the game, and Ty France went 3-for-4 as the young Padres prospects continue to shine. Michael Gettys slugged his 21st home run of the season in the win. Eric Yardley, Kaz Makita, and Travis Radke all had scoreless appearances out of the pen.
