San Diego Padres affiliates went 4-0 on Monday.

El Paso Chihuahuas (70-50) Won 9-5

The Chihuahuas won a 9-5 contest against the San Antonio Missions on Monday. Emmanuel Ramirez earned a win in the game as he went five innings, allowing five earned runs. He has a 12.18 ERA in the Triple-A since being promoted from Amarillo. His offense scored early and often for Ramirez as El Paso scored at least a run in each of their first four innings. Michael Gettys homered twice and now has 28 on the year in El Paso. Ty France went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and is still hitting .401 on the season in the PCL.

Fort Wayne TinCaps (54-64) Won 3-1

The TinCaps won a close game 3-1 against the South Bend Cubs on Monday by the score of 3-1. Fort Wayne got a great start from Edwuin Bencomo who went five innings of one-run ball against the Cubs. The 20-year-old right-handed pitcher from Venezuela has a 3.04 ERA now on the year. Lefty Cody Tyler relieved him and went three shutout innings. He has a 2.33 ERA in the Midwest League. Mason Fox earned his first save by pitching a perfect 9th. Juan Fernandez homered in four at-bats, and Ethan Skened doubled twice for the TinCaps.

Dust Devils pitching was on point as Tri-City shutout the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes 2-0 on Monday night. 19-year-old Ignacio Feliz started the game and went five innings, lowering his ERA to 3.06 on the year. Ramon Perez earned his first save of the 2019 season as he pitched the last two innings for Tri-City. Felix Minjarez also threw two scoreless innings in the win. Logan Driscoll is heating up as he doubled twice and went 3-for-3 in the game for the Dust Devils.

DSL Padres (28-32) Won 3-2

The DSL Padres were victorious in 10 innings over the DSL D-backs by the score of 3-2. Manuel Avila was victorious in the game as he pitched the final five innings for the Padres. The 18-year-old right-handed pitcher from Venezuela is now 4-1 on the season with a 5.77 ERA. Dominican Dwayne Matos started the game, throwing five shutout innings and lowering his ERA to 2.39 on the season. The 18-year-old has decent size (6-foot-1) and could be a serviceable prospect in the future. 17-year-old Reginald Dowtson homered for the 5th time of the season in the win. His two-run homer in the 10th was the difference in the game for the Padres.
