CJ Abrams continues to see the ball well in rookie ball, but many pitchers got hit hard on their respective teams.
The minor league affiliates went 3-3 today. Amarillo and Fort Wayne were off today.
Here is a brief recap of the action.
El Paso Chihuahuas Lost 7-4 (47-28 on the season)
Despite taking the lead in the tenth inning, Trevor Magill and the El Paso Chihuahuas couldn’t hold the lead in the bottom of the inning. A single run for both teams kept the game tied at 3-3. Luis Urias put El Paso ahead temporarily, but Magill allowed a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the tenth inning to allow Tacoma to steal the win. In the game, Robert Stock and Steven Wilson pitched two scoreless innings each, striking out two and three batters each.
